Biomedical Training
The CCDA establishes opportunities for advanced training of medical students, residents, and graduate students in research methodologies and translational medicine providing the potential workforce to fill future teaching and research positions in the osteopathic profession. An important goal of the training process is achievement of a better understanding of the impact that nutrition, exercise, biomechanical stability and other host (life-style) factors have on the wellness of developing and aging individuals.
Center partners in the Geriatric Regional Osteopathic Wellness (GROW) Consortium offer a wide range of special coursework, certifications, and subspecialty training in fields ranging from geriatric education, geriatric psychology, and gerontology.
