David Kuo, DO
Dr. David Kuo joined the faculty of the Department of Family medicine in 1999 as an instructor after completing his Family Medicine internship and residency at PCOM. Dr. Kuo is a teacher at PCOM's Roxborough Healthcare Center and was appointed Medical Director there in 2001. During his Family Medicine residency he was appointed Chief Resident and was awarded the Vickens Foundation Award in Family Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Medical Association, the Philadelphia County Medical Society, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Kuo once held the position of Vice Chairman of the Young Physicians Section of the Philadelphia County Medical Society. During his student years he was greatly involved in campus activities, serving as tour guide to prospective students and secretary and social chairman of the Lambda Omincron Gamma medical society. He is an active outdoorsman who enjoys snow and water skiing, hiking, camping, traveling, tennis and golf.
